A student of our Faculty among the world elite of robotics

Wednesday, 18 March 2026

We are extremely pleased to announce that a student from our faculty, a recent graduate of our Bachelor's degree program in English who is actively involved in the Smart Lab, has qualified for a prestigious, three-month internship under the Robotics Institute Germany Internships (RIGI) program at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart. This is an exceptional distinction, as the Max Planck Society ranks third globally in terms of the number of publications in leading scientific journals and boasts an impressive 31 Nobel laureates. Only 20 individuals from around the globe were accepted for the internship, with a success rate of just 2%, and our student is one of only two people to qualify from Europe.
This internship is a unique opportunity for growth in one of the world's finest research environments. For us, it is a source of immense pride and proof that studying and researching at the Smart Lab opens doors to an international career.

Heartfelt congratulations and wishes of fruitful research work!
