Inauguration Ceremony of the New Academic Year 2015/2016

Dean and Council of the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering kindly invite all Staff Members and Students to the Inauguration Ceremony of the New Academic Year 2015/2016. The Ceremony will take place on the 1st of October 2015 at 2 pm. in the lecture hall name of Prof. M. Bekker (room 2.5), in the Faculty Building at 84 Narbutta street.

Our Faculty at EU Sustainable Energy Week 2014

On Saturday, September 13, SGGW campus hosted Warsaw events within EU Sustainable Energy Week 2014. The events were aimed to promote the awareness of ecological technologies and effective use of energy.

Summer performance of our students at Formula Student international competition

In academic year 2013/14 students of the Faculty of Automobiles and Construction Machinery Engineering took part in ‘Generacja Przyszłości’ (Generation of the Future) project run by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The outcome was an updated version of Formula Student racing car and our student’s participation in summer student races in Great Britain and Hungary.

Compulsory Health Safety at Work Training

Compulsory training for the first year English full-time course students is going to take place on the following day (please note, there will be no other dates available):

October 15, 2014 (Wednesday) from 4.15 pm to 7pm at room 3.6.

Students who will fail to participate will be unable to have laboratory classes.

Changes in classes schedule in the first days of the new academic year

Please bear in mind that according to the schedule of academic year 2014/2015 winter semester starts on Monday, the 29th of September, 2014. The Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering holds a ceremony of the official opening of the academic year in lecture theatre number 2.5 at 10 am. On this day classes do not meet.

On Tuesday, September 30, and on Wednesday, October 1, classes take place.

Wednesday, October 1, is the day when Monday classes meet and Wednesday ones do not.

Invitation to the official opening of academic year 2014/2015

The Dean and Council of the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering have the pleasure to invite all employees and students to the  inauguration of  academic year 2014/2015 which will take place on September 29, 2014 (Monday) at 10 am at professor M. Bekker’s lecture theatre (room 2.5) at ul. Narbutta 84.

SiMR at the XVIIIth Science Picnic

Students of B.Sc, M.Sc and PhD courses as well as employees of the Faculty (SiMR) prepared many stands for Polish Radio and Copernicus Science Centre Science Picnic on May 31st. The display presented science and engineering issues related to broadly understood motor car industry.

Promising result at Aventics Pneumobil Bosch Rexroth

SiMR team with its pneumatic vehicle successfully competed in Aventics Pneumobil Bosch Rexroth event in Eger (Hungary), which took place on May 16th and 17th

SiMR Team successful at the Shell Eco Marathon Europe

Students from Car Engineers Research Club at the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering (SiMR) traditionally took part in The Shell Eco Marathon Europe. 

Hussar vehicle managed to improve its last year track record doing 375,86  km to one litre of petrol (against 326 kilometres in 2013), which resulted in 26th  place out of 59 teams in Prototype- Gasoline category and produced the only official final result for Polish vehicles.

SiMR second vehicle, Green Arrow F1 car, was ranked 15th (42,66 km/kWh) out of 31 teams participating in Urban Concept- Battery category.

Agreement with ZSP in Przasnysz

May 28, 2014 saw final conclusion of the agreement between Maj. Henryk Sucharski Upper Secondary School Complex in Przasnysz and the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering.  The agreement, primarily signed by the Dean of the Faculty prof. Stanisław Radkowski, was co-signed, on behalf of the School Complex, by the Headmaster Andrzej Brocki MSc in the presence of Przasnysz District Governor Mr Zenon Szczepankowski.

The deed is the consequence of the Endorsement Agreement signed in February 2014 between Warsaw University of Technology and Przasnysz District.
