Agreement with ZSP in Przasnysz

May 28, 2014 saw final conclusion of the agreement between Maj. Henryk Sucharski Upper Secondary School Complex in Przasnysz and the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering.  The agreement, primarily signed by the Dean of the Faculty prof. Stanisław Radkowski, was co-signed, on behalf of the School Complex, by the Headmaster Andrzej Brocki MSc in the presence of Przasnysz District Governor Mr Zenon Szczepankowski.

The deed is the consequence of the Endorsement Agreement signed in February 2014 between Warsaw University of Technology and Przasnysz District.

Semifinals of XV Olimpiada Techniki Samochodowej - results

On March 22, 2014 Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering (SiMR) hosted semifinals of XV Olimpiada Techniki Samochodowej (XV Car Technology Competition). The test of 40 questions summed up general knowledge including mathematics, physics, materials, engineering drawings, manufacturing technology, machine design fundamentals as well as specialist information on construction, diagnostics, repairs and exploitation of motor vehicles including aspects of environmental protection and health and safety at the workplace regulations. 466 pupils faced the challenge.

XVII contest for the best Master of Science thesis

Final Seminar of the XVIIth edition of the Contest for the best defence of a master’s dissertation took place on 04.02.2014. The contest was held under the auspices of His Magnificence Rector of Warsaw University of Technology prof. Jan Szmidt.

The Winner of the Contest and the holder of the first prize (awarded by the Faculty Professors) turned out to be Łukasz Zieliński M.Sc, Eng the author of the thesis: “Proposition of a method to control a dual fuel diesel engine with a modified supply system”

Visitors from Technische Universität Berlin

Between October 13 and 19, 2013 Warsaw University of Technology and the Faculty of Automotive and Heavy Machinery Engineering (SiMR) are hosting Profesor Utz von Wagner with a group of students from Technische Universität Berlin.
